Frank Sánchez Ruiz

CPA, CMA, CIA, CGMA, CGFM

Frank is the Managing Member of Kreston PR, LLC. He started in public accounting in 1982 with Laventhol & Horwath. He has extensive hands on experience in auditing, tax, advisory, bankruptcy and accounting services. Graduated from the Catholic University of Puerto Rico, with a Bachelor in Business Administration, Major in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude. Frank holds several professional licenses and certifications, including being a licensed CPA for New York, New Jersey and Florida, and a Real Estate Broker in Puerto Rico. He is also a Peer Reviewer under the AICPA Peer Review Program and an active member of the Peer Review Committee of the PR CPA State Society. Through all his career, Frank has been involved in all aspects of the businesses and enterprises been served and the diversity of industries and clients the firm has managed, from multinationals, large and medium size companies, small businesses and entrepreneurs, being public or non-public. From accounting to auditing, tax, bankruptcy and advisory, as Managing Member, he is involved in the planning, fieldwork and final review stages and follow-up of the different types of engagements. He is responsible for assuring that all aspects of quality control of the firm and the profession are met and that the clients’ expectations are satisfied.

Jorge A. Guzmán

CPA

Jorge is the Tax Director of Kreston PR, LLC. He started his career as a tax agent with the Puerto Rico Treasury Department. He has been in public accounting firms since 2002, heavily involved with many special tax assignments project preparations, which require useful tax law knowledge, computations, creativity, time constraints and written communications. Jorge is responsible for advice and recommendations to clients on proposed or completed transactions in various tax areas that require special attention. Also, he is involved in the preparation and review of all corporate, business and individual tax returns for PR and US tax authorities.

Felícita Burgos

CPA

Felícita is an audit manager at Kreston PR, LLC. She started her career in 1994 with the PR Comptroller’s Office performing several special governmental audits related to Puerto Rico Government Agencies. She has been in public accounting firms since 1996, managing and supervising audits and advisory engagements for various types of entities and industries, such as retail, state and local goverment, non-profit entities, real estate, dealerships and cargo airlines, including preparation of financial statements and reports processing. Felícita has been also involved in agreed upon procedures, management consulting, litigation support, budgeting and forecasting, financing, business valuations, and policies and accounting manuals engagements, among others.

Antonio Cruz Ortíz

CICA, ITIL v3

Antonio is an audit manager at Kreston PR, LLC. He started in public accounting in 2000. Antonio is responsible for the governmental audits (financial and compliance) and financial audits for non-public companies. He also has experience in non-traditional engagements such as: Sales audits for commercial centers, Consultant in government clients related to the management of Federal Funds and compliance with the different program requirements, and internal controls evaluations. Antonio has also experience in various industries such as Solid Waste Disposal, Retail, Services, Meat and Produce Distribution, Not-for-Profit, Health Care, Retirement Plans, and Federal Grants Management. He also assists in the implementation of audit software and other IT matters.

Fabiola Collado Torres

MBA

Fabiola is the Advisory, and Restructuring, Insolvency Director in Kreston PR, LLC. She started her professional career in 1993, being involved in materials management, cost accounting, design of accounting systems manuals, the review and evaluation of overall accounting procedures and internal controls and the review or assistance in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Also, she has assisted management in matters of business policies, financing (business plans), evaluation of purchasing functions, personnel studies, production control studies, feasibility studies, statistical presentations, and business valuations engagements, among others. During the past years Fabiola has been intensively involved in bankruptcy proceedings and litigation support engagements.
