Audit Associate
Location: Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
A growing public accounting firm in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Associate to join our audit team. This position is ideal for entry-level or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in public accounting and gain hands-on audit experience across a variety of industries.

On-site position in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
Responsibilities
· Assist in the execution of audit engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAS
· Prepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation
· Perform audit testing of financial statement accounts and internal controls
· Obtain and organize client data and supporting schedules
· Identify and communicate audit issues to senior team members
· Ensure work is completed accurately and in accordance with firm standards
· Meet assigned deadlines and engagement timelines
· Assist with other accounting and audit-related projects as needed
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
· 0–2 years of public accounting or relevant accounting experience
· CPA candidate or intent to pursue CPA licensure (preferred)
· Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
