Tax Associate
Location: Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
A growing public accounting firm in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our tax team. This position is ideal for entry-level or early-career professionals interested in developing a career in public accounting with hands-on experience in federal and Puerto Rico tax compliance.

Responsibilities
· Prepare federal and Puerto Rico income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities
· Assist with tax research related to U.S. and Puerto Rico tax laws and regulations
· Gather, organize, and analyze client tax information and supporting documentation
· Prepare workpapers and schedules to support tax filings
· Assist with responses to notices and inquiries from taxing authorities
· Ensure compliance with filing deadlines and firm quality standards
· Support senior tax staff and managers with special projects as needed
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
· 0–2 years of tax or accounting experience preferred
· CPA candidate or intent to pursue CPA licensure (preferred)
· Basic knowledge of U.S. federal and Puerto Rico tax laws
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
· Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
